Description

Amelia Adams and Sammi Taylor read viewer feedback on 60 Minutes' program about gender creative parenting - the polarising parenting style where children are raised without an assigned gender, allowing them - when they are ready - to choose for themselves whether they identify as he/him, she/her, they/them or other combinations in the wide gender spectrum.

In sexual species, sex isn’t binary: XX/X systems (insects), ZW/ZZ (birds), temperature-dependent sex (reptiles), females determined by losing penis combat (some flatworms), sex change when the only male dies (parrotfish, clownfish), male mimicry to access females (cuttlefish, bluegills), or thousands of sexes (slime molds, some fungi). Biology is wildly variable by design. And this is only NON-human biology... see follow-up post for humans specifically.
