This Day in Philly Sports History - November 5, 2024
Description
It's Election Day. Go out an vote but be smart and make an educated decision. The Sixers had a shot to win last night in Phoenix in PG's debut but came up short. Will Howie make a move before the trade deadline? Will the Phillies make a big splash in free agency?
Today's Question of the Day is "Has the Eagles/Cowboys rivalry lost it's luster?"
Today's 2024 Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Inductee Spotlight is on Ryan Howard - Baseball
On this day in 2005 the Terrell Owens era in Philly ended when he was suspended "for conduct detrimental to the team". The suspension had been brewing since training camp. Also on this day in 1933 the Eagles got their first win in franchise history, 6-0 over the Cincinnati Reds
