A new firmware update, vEighty-Three, is in public testing and shows promising results. This update moves the multitasking tool out of the experimental features and into a larger user interface overhaul called Navigator. Early tests indicate that the system now reloads background apps when memory runs low, allowing games to keep running smoothly. Meta Quest owners can expect relief later in November, bringing an end to months of frustration and crashes.
