If there's one navigation app I always turn to first when I need help getting somewhere, it's Google Maps. I use it for commuting to stay updated on traffic and road closures, and also when exploring a new city, like during my recent trips to Edinburgh and Brooklyn. While I think Google Maps does a great job with navigation, one thing I've noticed, and I'm sure many others have too, is that it's not so kind to battery life, especially if you're using it for long trips.
