About Maria
Maria is the CEO of Socrait, PBC, bringing 30 years of experience in education, including classroom teaching, online learning design, and EdTech innovation. After the sale of Coursetune, where she was co-founder and CEO, Maria just wanted to go back to teaching and embarked on an “adventure” into K-12 education as a teacher at Beehive Academy of Science and Technology. Her current work focuses on leveraging AI and advanced technologies to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in education today. Maria lives in Utah, where she enjoys hiking in slot canyons, camping in a tiny trailer, and being walked by her two huskies.
