Downtown D.C. businesses are struggling after an unexpected federal takeover caused a major drop in foot traffic. To combat this, the Downtown D.C. BID launched Thursday Night Out, a weekly event featuring live music, art, and themed drinks, aimed at revitalizing the area and supporting local shops. With gift cards and community spirit, organizers hope to bring back the crowds and help businesses stay afloat through October 2nd.
