Description
Christopher Nolan is tegenwoordig één van de grootste en invloedrijkste filmmakers ter wereld, maar in 1999 is hij nog een complete nobody als hij op IFFR de Tiger Award wint met zijn debuutfilm Following. Cesar gaat op zoek naar Nolan om hem te vragen hoe hij terugkijkt op die ervaring.
Ook spreekt hij de talentvolle Keniase filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu, die in 2018 de internationale filmwereld veroverde met haar prachtige liefdesdrama Rafiki. IFFR speelde een onmisbare rol in haar carrière. Ook al is ze nog nooit op het festival geweest.
