We pick up some time after Kaito and Cypher spoke to OMEGA, the seemingly omnipotent artificial intelligence. They have uploaded the program to others, and now the disciples are ready to infiltrate the Ancient Palace in the heart of Kyoto.

It is there they will be able to upload the 21st century AI into the bloodstreams of every soul on earth. But first they must contend with hunting Yakuza and Samurai spirit-androids to achieve their shared goal of ultimate human transcendence.
