The first report from the Ombudsman investigation found that failures within the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, or DEWR, are responsible for the unlawful reduction and cancellation of Centrelink payments for thousands of people receiving income support. Jay Coonan works with the Antipoverty Centre to advocate for systemic change, ending conditional welfare such as Centrelink’s mutual obligations program.// Toll 'Stop Driving Genocide' Campaign Heats Up//Direct action campaign against Toll Holdings heating up with multiple statewide actions demanding Toll stop driving genocide. From the 15th - 22nd of July Toll Holdings has been targetted in Melbourne, Westmeadows and Campbellfield. Toll provides the transport equipment needed to supply Israel with lethal weapons used to kill Palestinians in Gaza. Tadpole is passionate about AFL footy, and even more passionate about community. On Sunday July 27th the Mt Alexander Falcons football team held a Trans and Gender Diverse Celebration game in Harcourt, Regional Vic. Initially organised as a response to the Riddells District Football Netball League (RDFNL) excluding trans netballers, the day was a joyful celebration of trans and gender diverse inclusion in sport.
