Today I was able to sit down for a recording with Tom Whitener, who is a law enforcement officer for the city of Ashland, MO. We talk about recruitment, training, tactics, violence, bureaucracy, decentralization, plus, the future as it relates to keeping our people safe and secure.
We take a deep dive into what it looks like when a police officer fires their weapon on a civilian, the honest statistics behind these sort of incidents, and why it is imperative that our public safety plan much always include training in the warrior mindset.
