With our economic and consumption behaviour humanity is currently using the resources of not one but four planets. A fundamental redesign of our systems is necessary to ensure that we stay within the planetary boundaries and tackle climate change – this is where the circular economy comes in. Among others Matthias Wackernagel from the Global Footprint Network and Kirsten Dunlop, the CEO of Climate Kic, will tell us in this episode how to redesign the systems we live in, where Switzerland stands in the implementation process and highlight successful Swiss initiatives.
