Travis Sykora - The Hardest Throwing High School Pitcher on Earth!
Description
Round Rock High School’s Travis Sykora hits triple digits regularly. Two years ago he was Shortstop with a rocket arm… Now, he's a flamethrower that’s expected to be the first Texas High School Pitcher selected in the first round of the MLB Draft in 5 years! His childhood dream was to play for the Texas Longhorns and he’s committed to the storied program that produced All-Star Pitchers like Roger Clemens, Greg Swindell, and Houston Street.
Freshman year he weighed 130 lbs soaking wet and now he’s a 6’6’’, 230 Pound Monster Dragon on the Hill! You had to get to Round Rock games early because it would be 10 people deep with Scouts and their radar guns. He helped lead the Dragons to many magical moments…like knocking off #1 Lake Travis in 2021, the Regional Semifinals, and the unbeaten season for the district title. He played for the legendary Coach John Carter but, never had a specialized pitching coach. Travis is beyond his years when it comes to protecting his arm. Epic workouts in his garage and summers in Houston at a training facility. He and his Mom would live in a Barn and cook omelets on the George Foreman Grill. It wasn’t like making grilled cheese with an Iron…but, close! Travis learned about nutrition and building up strength to protect his arm. Dad stopped catching him because it hurt his hand...his older brother, Daniel, has always caught him thanks to a medal glove and being fearless. Travis has played all over the country on Elite Teams and his most cherished moment is at Dodgers Stadium during the MLB All-Star festivities. Scouts love his intelligence, sound delivery, and work ethic! He’s a rare flamethrower who throws a high percentage of strikes. Enjoy the Hardest throwing High Schooler in the Nation!
