This mix is my ode to Vaughn Benjamin, the lead singer of the band Midnite, and later Akae Beka. To me Vaughn is a remix to the countless freedom fighters we’ve had throughout the many years. Vaughn’s’ dedication to his craft, his humbleness and the messages he put in his songs is why he will always be loved. He will be placed amongst the all time greats of reggae music. I give thanks for all that he has done in his short life. He’s left us with an enormous catalogue, a huge chunk of it I’m not familiar with yet. His music is a blessing, and he will always be live in my heart. One Love
