Triumph through adversity. - Nolan Barnes - World Record holder in Disabled Water Skiing
Description
Hi, I’m Nolan Barnes. I was injured in 2010 in a motor vehicle rollover. Through this tragedy, I acquired a spinal cord injury, and I am paralyzed from the chest down. One day in the hospital, I was introduced to adaptive WaterSki. I had no idea that is trying to spot out with change my life forever. I went from barely qualifying for a team to becoming a Canadian and world champion. I am currently the highest-decorated Canadian water skier in history. I have also started a few small businesses where I excelled, being a financial advisor and climbing ranks through the company. Motivational speaking all across Canada. And a small real estate business in the short-term rental market. My story is one of adversity and triumph. I feel like I’m just getting started now that I’ve gotten through some of the toughest times in my life, and I’m ready to take on the world and change lives along the way.
