Shanti is the bamboo queen! It was so great having her on to share about all the amazing work she does to put on the Florida Permaculture Convergence every year in December! All the elite permaculture advocates / growers from all over the state come together to share wisdom and different techniques with each other so that we can help build a more resilient future!
She also works closely with bamboo, so we had the opportunity to discuss all of it's benefits and how you can even use it. By making tea from the leaves or cooking the new shoots, bamboo is such an underrated element to our food forest system!
