Jim Montgomery was relieved of his duties as head coach of the Boston Bruins late Tuesday evening as a result of the poor record through the first 20 games of the season. This move comes as bit of a shocker for most as Montgomery has been one of the best coaches in the NHL for the last few seasons. 

Also on todays episode, the recent news of J.T Miller has made headlines as he takes an indefinite leave of absence from the Vancouver Canucks for personal reasons. Ovechkin's hot streak will be put on pause for the time being as he remains week-to-week with a leg injury while Matthews has flown to Germany for a consult on his current injury.
