A glamorous international television and movie star fluent in four languages, the actress and model Leonor Varela has enjoyed a career spanning decades working with the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio, Patrick Dempsey, Ashton Kutcher, Wesley Snipes, Timothy Dalton, Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo Del Toro. Perhaps it was being born in Chile during the brutal regime of ruthless dictator Augusto Pinochet and having to flee the country with her family as just a girl that helped her instinctively turn down infamous Hollywood sexual predator Harvey Weinstein's offer to audition for a movie role in his hotel room. Leonor and Vivica discuss the aftermath of that fateful decision, her becoming an influential activist working tirelessly to end whale hunting and to save our environment and suffering every parent’s nightmare in losing her beloved son Matteo to leukodystrophy at the age of 5. To help other parents struggling with loss, she wrote a powerful book about her experiences called Go to Heaven and Back: My Way with Matteo. Leonor believes we are never truly separated from the ones we love, and she's here with Vivica to share her secret to a long, successful career and deep and lasting relationships with our loved ones.
