Her work with HIV/AIDS orphans and political activists honed her ability to find light in the darkest of places, a skill she now shares with the world.

About Siri Dharma / Sheila Tyacke
Lawyer, Mediator, Legal Trainer & Mentor, Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner, Training Facilitator & Counselor

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Siri Dharma is an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). Trained as a lawyer in South Africa, she currently trains and mentors young lawyers.  

She also has training in Nonviolent Communication, Family Life and Addiction Counseling. She is the lead South African trainer for the Beyond Addiction Program, before which, she spent more than 15 years teaching Kundalini Yoga for addiction recovery in primary rehab.

A certified Compassionate Inquiry® (CI) practitioner Siri Dharma has been a facilitator of its online training since its inception in 2019.  She co-leads the CI Safety and Connection course which fosters safety in both the CI training and sessions. Along with Vimalasara Mason-John, she serves as an officer in the CI Integrity and Equality Office. Their function is to resolve any disputes or conflicts that arise in the context of the training. 

As a highly-sensitive person  Siri Dharma has a deep interest in ensuring that highly sensitive people are welcomed and safely held in the Compassionate Inquiry® training as well as in private mentoring sessions.

Today, Siri Dharma lives in Johannesburg with her 27-year-old foster son, whom she met when he was just 4-years-old, when teaching yoga to HIV-positive children at a local orphanage.
