Everything around us tells us to try harder. Be better. Get it together. We live in a culture that runs on hustle — where identity and value are earned by effort, performance, and self-reliance. But what if the way of Jesus is different? What if transformation begins not by doing more, but by receiving what we could never earn?
In this series, we’re exploring the surprising, generous way of Jesus. He doesn’t meet us with shame, but with compassion. He doesn’t demand perfection, but offers a fresh start. He gives peace where we carry anxiety, rest where we carry exhaustion, and hope where we feel stuck. This isn’t about giving up — it’s about opening up. Maybe what your soul needs most isn’t to try harder, but to try less... and receive what only Jesus can give.
