We're not trying to count our eggs too soon, we just want to be prepared when the time comes. We all should have a butchering and processing plan before we go out on our hunt and not trying to create a half ass plan on the fly. Understand the type of hunt you are going on, what resources are available to you, and communicate that plan to those around you. This is especially important if you are traveling / flying for your hunt and need to transport hundred of pounds of meat and possibly a cape or antlers.
