Hawthorne is one of the great writers and is a joy to read
It is easy to use the Fire to access whatever Hawthorne tale one wants to read. I recommend this volume because the stories are fascinating and memorable.
Classic choice and easy to read print
Very readable edition, easy to read on my Kindle. Great classic choice.
Beautifully crafted stories
These stories are brilliant and beautifully written, worth reading at least twice.
Delightful!
Engagingly written stories---many of which you probably know already from fairy tales and mythology, but told so well that you enjoy reading them again---or reading them aloud to someone else. Highly recommended.
It took me places I never have seen
I was sad when I finished this book. Hawthorne had taken me to a time and place so long ago. I felt that I was there as I read his words.
