UCLAs bowl hopes dimmed after a tough loss to Nebraska, leaving the team with a struggling offense and a looming challenge against top-ranked Ohio State. Offensive coordinator Jerry Neuheisels magic has faded, and quarterback Nico Iamaleavas performance has been inconsistent. The wide receivers, including Kwazi Gilmer, have underperformed, catching only three passes for twenty-six yards in the last two games. Running back Anthony Frias the Second, however, has been a bright spot, averaging nine point seven yards per carry and scoring two touchdowns. UCLA may need to look for new talent in the transfer portal to boost their receiving game for next season.
