This episode continues our monthly theme of Universal Design for Learning. Mandie Thompson and Angela Sawdye, two middle school instructional coaches, join the episode to discuss the Representation principle in the UDL guidelines. We discuss the importance of supporting your content with visuals and auditory scaffolds, providing and activating background knowledge, and giving students different access points.
