U.S. envoys held discussions with Taliban representatives at a meeting in Qatar on Wednesday regarding the release of 2 American prisoners held in Afghanistan. In exchange, the Taliban asked for the release of Afghan prisoners held in the United States and Guantanamo Bay.
An Israeli strike has killed a senior commander of the Hezbollah terrorist group in Lebanon. Hezbollah retaliated by firing a barrages of drones and rockets at Israel.
Nearly 71 million Americans are expected to travel during the Independence Day holiday between June 29 and July 7. Cooler prices for airfares, gasoline, and hotels are driving the surge.
