If forgiveness was based on a feeling, we would never forgive people. The truth is that forgiveness is a choice and we can actually choose to crucify our feelings. Not only is forgiveness a choice, it is also a commandment given to us by Jesus. Obeying God’s commands is a way that we show our love for God.
