Today's episode will be an historical assessment of unhoused populations in both the United States and Cuba. I am welcoming back Yara Kadaan as my co-host who will be leading the lecture on Cuba during the Fulgencio Batista and Fidel Castro eras, spotlighting homelessness, and the Embargo Act against Cuba. I will be drawing attention to the systemic homeless dilemma that Seattle is currently facing and drawing conclusions from American history.
