On the Tuesday morning of July 11th, 2006, Mary Cooper and Susanna Stodden left in the family 1997 Dodge Caravan with a plan to hike on the other side of Mount Pilchuck. When their itinerary changed, moving their destination to the Pinnacle Lake Trail. What was supposed to be a relaxing Tuesday hike turned into a family and community's worst nightmare, when the women didn't return.
