The Disappearance of Susan Cox Powell
On December 6th 2009, worried family members begin a frantic search for Josh Powell, his wife Susan, & their two young boys who have suddenly vanished from their home in West Valley City, Utah. But when Josh & his two sons return, he claims he went on a spontaneous camping trip & Susan is not with them. As her case gains international media interest, fears for the safety of the young missing mom grow and Josh’s behaviour becomes more suspicious. Then the mystery of her disappearance takes an even more tragic turn as Josh takes his own life, & those of his two boys 7-year-old Charlie & 5-year-old Braden.
Thus, also taking the secret of where Susan’s remains lie with him to the grave. The heartbreaking end to this case has left us with many unanswered questions.What happened to Susan on that fateful night? How many people were really involved in covering up the crime? And most importantly, will Susan’s remains ever be found?
