Analysis: Of the 10 games to open this season, the best two (by a pretty wide margin) have come against the Carolina Hurricanes. It started slowly, again, but it didn’t take too long for VGK to get going in this one. After the first TV timeout they found their skating legs and started to dominate possession of the puck. Carolina wouldn’t go away and there was a massive post that saved the Golden Knights in the 3rd, but the better team won this one. (Analysis by Ken)

Absolutely brilliant stuff from Ivan Barbashev and Eichel finishes off the chance and probably the game.
2 games, 2 times VGK have outplayed one of the best teams in the league.

Incredible finish by Howden in tight. Perfect pass by Reinhardt to make it happen too. 3-3

Hockey is weird far too often.
That 2nd period may have been VGK's most impressive of the season, certainly their best on the road this year, and they walk away down on the scoreboard in the frame.

Like the 4th line's low to high game, especially when they are out there with Theodore and McNabb.
