The Miami Hurricanes have won the State of Florida for the second straight year!

In their first road game of the season, the Canes went into hostile territory at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee and left with a 28-22 win. Early enrollee freshman Malachi Toney etched his name into the history books of this rivalry with a 2 touchdown performance on 7 catches for 107 yards. True freshman safety Bryce Fitzgerald set the table for Toney’s first TD with an interception of Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos. 

Quarterback Carson Beck played mistake free ball with 4 touchdowns and zero interceptions, completing 74 percent of his throws. Host Alex Donno discusses other standouts from the game like safety Jakobe Thomas, edge Akheem Mesidor, receiver CJ Daniels and defensive back Keionte Scott. Donno goes over a shaky fourth quarter but explains why Miami should never apologize for a win.
