Description

Welcome the Stranger is a Catholic Charities initiative, in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Chicago to assist the 10,000 asylum seekers who have arrived in our city in recent months. Parishes in all six Vicariates are coordinating a Catholic response to offer charitable help to the asylum seekers, along with Catholic Charities programs and services as available. Join Phil Zepeda and Katie Bredemann as they welcome Marilu Gonzalez and Donald Kauffold to discuss Welcome the Stranger developments, including a special story from Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Elk Grove Village.
