Vector control workers are making checks for pests, such as mosquitoes and rodents as it's anticipated that there will be an increase in vector-borne diseases, due to the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton said hundreds of vector control workers have been deployed island-wide.
