Description

Vinita Marwaha Madill is one of the UK’s brightest space engineering stars, formally of the European Space Agency. She engineered a robotic arm which will be launched to the International Space Station to help build new parts of the ISS. She also designed the suits the astronauts wear inside it. Now she’s trying to inspire more women to get involved in out of this world careers through her Rocket Women initiative.

Anne-Marie Imafidon asks what inspired Vinita to reach beyond the stars, what’s it like to live in space, could you have a baby on Mars, and does feminism extend beyond the atmosphere? And, of course we ask if aliens exist!
