Description

Episode 112 | Vinnie Kayata (Legally Blind Hot Rodder) joins the podcast! In this episode, Vinnie talks to Lance about his project of rebuilding a Vintage Speedster, which he's named The RP Flyer. The RP Flyer combines a 1930 Ford Model A engine, chassis, suspension, and axles with the body of a 1927 Ford Model T Roadster Pickup. Once completed, it will be sold, with all profits going to the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Vinnie also discusses with Lance the importance of support groups, his use of ID canes at punk rock concerts and his approach to fatherhood as a legally blind dad.

SEE-THROUGH is hosted by Lance Johnson. Based in New York City, Lance is a video editor living with a rare and incurable eye condition called retinitis pigmentosa (or RP for short). In most cases, RP causes legal-blindness by the age of 40. Now 33, Lance uses SEE-THROUGH as a platform to explore his inevitable future of blindness through his transparent conversations with his guests.
