We can create a new world with sounds we make for awhile. They determine the feeling tone we are immersed in, the force field of a story we write, the parts of our psyche we get in touch with, how much fun we can have playing.

Paying attention to acoustics is rewarding for writers, and for those opening up to more expressiveness in any kind of performance including being alive, and for people who notice their voice makes a difference in relationships.
