Description

Eva Jane Bolents served during World War II in the United States Navy as an operating room nurse, Ensign, Lt. Jr. Grade. Her story of patient care is very touching and inspiring. Many times the wounded were comforted simply by a nurse holding their hand. With love of country and the utmost pride and patriotism, Eva Jane firmly believed she had a part in protecting our freedoms. We salute you today Eva Jane Bolents and thank you for your service. Please join with me in honoring and sharing another one of our hometown heroes.
