The Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan, is the largest mosque in the nation. Unfortunately, hate groups from across the country have used that visibility to turn the mosque into a site of Islamophobic protests.
We learn more about Arab-American communities and the need for social services to understand Arab and immigrant cultural sensitivities.
We chat with Dearborn's State Representative, Abdullah Hammoud, who started representing his community in the Michigan State House at 25.
