Washington States womens basketball team secured a thrilling victory in their first West Coast Conference game, defeating Pepperdine 66-63. The Cougars, who hadnt won in a month, built a ten-point lead in the fourth quarter, thanks to strong three-point shooting from Malia Ruud, Eleonora Villa, and Charlotte Abraham. Villa led the team with 17 points, while Abraham added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
