Description
Food waste is a complicated issue that has far-reaching ramifications including societal strain, environmental degradation and financial burdens. The Iowa Waste Reduction Center at UNI has been providing food waste prevention and reduction services since 2013. Today, Katie and Patrick chat with Jenny Trent, program manager, about the work she does to reduce waste in the food, beverage and organics areas—at both macro and micro levels.
