I paused while the umbrella caused the water to splash off in every direction but on me, thankfully, and watched as he resurfaced, swam to the edge, and leaped into the puddle again. "Oh, drats!" he exclaimed as he came up to the surface.
"Whatever are you doing?" I asked him, puzzled.
"I've lost my glasses somewhere, and I may never find them. I think I lost them in this puddle," he said....
