Waymo, Googles self-driving car company, is expanding its services to four new cities: Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Saint Louis, and Philadelphia. Theyre starting with manual driving in three cities and already operating autonomously in Philadelphia. Waymo offers fully autonomous rides in several major cities and has expanded its freeway access. Theyre also growing their manufacturing, opening a new factory and planning to add more vehicles to their fleet. Waymo has partnered with Hyundai and is exploring a collaboration with Toyota. With over one hundred million autonomous miles driven and ten million paid rides, Waymo is making significant strides in the future of transportation.
