This episode on talkabout we discuss a family film that one of our listeners deemed 'overlooked'. Starring Matt Damon and ScarJo, we give our thoughts on 'We Bought a Zoo'. What zoo is this actually based on? Why is there any romance subplot? Why didn't that bear eat them all? So many questions that we answer in a neat (shorter than usual) episode. Still waiting for this film's sequel: 'We Sold a Zoo'. It's a much sadder film with kids crying and animals being sold oversees. Actually Benjamin See (the protagonist) doesn't own the zoo anymore, and Dartmoor Zoo that it's based off is still thriving. Perhaps a sequel wouldn't be too bad...
