They open in the NFL where it was Championship Sunday and the New Orleans Saints were hurt by an egregious blown call. The Pats outlasted Kansas City showing we need the NFL to fix the overtime issue as Mahomes never saw the ball. And kickers were on full display throughout the games Sunday hitting big kick after big kick.

They move over to College Basketball where we saw 8 ranked teams fall, including the final two unbeaten teams and three top-10 teams. No one wants to win the Big 12 and Kentucky seems to be trending back up.

Final topic is the slow burn that is MLB free agency. We are under a month away from pitchers and catchers reporting and still Bryce Harper and Manny Machado have not signed contracts. The entire league is essentially at a stand still waiting for these two to sign. There have been rumors recently that the White Sox have made a 7-year $175 million offer to Machado.
