Weekly Wrap: It’s ‘killing season’ in politics, a hospital funding brawl and no COP31 for Adelaide - News Club
Description
Getting you across the week in news - it was a big week in federal politics, starting with Australia ceding the bid to host COP31 (the annual global UN meeting) to Türkiye, and a hospital funding brawl between state and federal governments. Then we hop around state to state to cover off the biggest news stories from around the country. A big one is what's known as the 'killing season' in politics. We’re heading into ‘silly season’, but it’s ‘killing season’ for politicians, with leadership changes in both NSW and Victorian oppositions this week.
We’re also hiring! See below for more info on the role.
