After the murder-by-hire death of their father Dan Markel, Wendi’s children’s middle and last names were changed. They were moved from their school and friends and cut off contact from their paternal Grandparents. Raised among their Uncle Charlie, now a convicted murderer in the murder-by-hire plot of their father and Grandmother Donna, who sits behind bars indicted with the same charges as their Uncle Charlie.
