So today I will talk about laughter and the benefits.
Let’s start with having confidence in God’s word. Hebrews 11:1 reads “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” As believers, we must have confidence or trust in God’s Word. When you pray and know that God hears you, you can confidence that God is sending out angels to work on your behalf right now.
1 John 5:14-15, ESV: And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

Did you know that laughter is good for you physically, emotionally, and mentally?

Laughter can lower your stress levels and improve your mood. Laughter can improve relationships. Do you laugh with your significant other or your spouse? How about your kids? Laughter can give you a sense of happiness and well-being.

Here are 8 scriptures about laughter and they are in the New Living Translation.
Job 8:21 says “He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.”
Psalm 30:11 reads “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.”
Psalm 42:5 states “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again.”
Psalm 98:4 says “Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!”
Psalm 126:2 reads “We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, ‘What amazing things the Lord has done for them.’”
Proverbs 17:22 states “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”
John 15:11 : “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!”
1 Peter 4:13 : “Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.”

When you become born again, trust in God and meditate on His word, you can have peace and joy in your life. It will become a way of life. You can live a positive and happy life.
I did some research on important questions we need to ask ourselves if we do not live a happy life.

If you do not have a happy life, ask yourself what are you listening to or reading or seeing daily?
There is certain music that I listen to. Nothing negative or dark for me. That’s my personal choice.
What songs are you singing along with? Your words have power. If you are singing songs about being sad or broke, you are confessing that. But the power of your words is another podcast for another day.
Be mindful of what you watch on the internet, on TV, and movies.
If you constantly listen, read, or watch negative things, that can affect our outlook on life. That can affect your mind and spirit.
Happiness is a choice. It is your decision if you want to have a happy life.
I love reading about King David and his praise. In 2 Samuel 6:14 in the NKJV it reads “Then David danced[a] before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.”
So this great ruler, this man of authority cut loose and danced and praised the Lord! And he wasn’t alone in his praise.
Read 2 Samuel 6:16-23
