What If You’ve Been Collecting the Wrong Evidence? Do You Even Know Yourself Anymore? Mini Series Ep 6
Description
What if the evidence you’ve been collecting isn’t the whole truth? In this episode of the Do You Even Know Yourself Anymore? series, we explore how old beliefs shape what you see - and how awareness gives you the power to choose a different story. Here’s the tricky part about beliefs: once you accept one, your brain will collect evidence to prove it true. “The world isn’t safe.” “Rest is lazy.” “I have to put everyone else first.” And every time life gives you proof, the story gets stronger - even if it’s not the whole truth.
I share a recent experience where one of my deepest old beliefs almost pulled me back into hiding, and how I chose differently instead. Because when you see the belief → evidence → fear loop for what it is, you finally have the power to choose another way.
💜 Reflection Questions from this episode:
- What old belief or story do I notice myself still carrying?
- What “evidence” have I been collecting that makes this belief feel true?
- Is that evidence the whole story — or just part of it?
- What might shift if I allowed myself to believe something different?
