Ego is a complex system, it is a double edged sword. It can help you reflect and set goals towards a better future, but it can also keep you complacent, it can keep you stuck in fear and worry and envy. We need to first understand what it is and when it comes into play, we need to identify it and then we can start to put it back in its place where it belongs and use it as a tool, not a master.
