Mz. Skittlez sits down with Jessica Rich to talk about her biggest lessons learned around personal branding. Born and raised in Michigan, she’s a shoe designer best known for her PVC stilettos, as well as a fashion expert, host, and former reality show personality.

Listen in as Jessica reflects on her experience on VH1's Real Chance of Love in 2008, which catapulted her into the public eye, and her journey to find a way “to get paid for being myself” upon moving to L.A. This led to an opportunity to kickstart her hosting career and, later on, to start her own online store.

“If you don’t sell yourself,” she says, “No one’s going to buy. You have to literally say, ‘I’m the shit. If you don’t have the confidence, it’s going to reflect in everything you do.”

She goes on to talk about how she navigated the challenges of building a successful online business, particularly with regards to putting together the perfect team who understood the mission and goals of the brand.
