Description
By 2050, the MENA region will be 4°C warmer as compared to the 1.5°C global target that according to scientists is the limit to save the planet.
We believe it is critical for the #EU to include the #MENA region in their #greenagenda. On 29 November 2021 we organized a discussion with young climate activists from the MENA region and a member of the EU team for the Green Deal.
The Green MENA Network is an initiative by the Greater Middle East Platform. It maps sustainability actors in the Middle East and North Africa to connect, facilitate and cooperate for a green future.
